In January 2010 I set myself a challenge - To take a photo a day for the whole year. Sounds so simple.. But I want each of the photos to be worth printing in at least A4 size, something that is interesting, beautiful or unusual in some way. This should be a way for me to increase my photography skills and something that is worth sharing with friends and fellow photogs. I stopped uploading photos to this blog for around 7 years...So I will be uploading pictures to fill in the blanks.

Day 123 - Some HDR
- The HDR treatment brings outthe depth of colours and intensitfies the contrast. I have also reveresed the photo for better composition. I like the Cartoon-like effect that this particular HDR treatment gives.

This series of photos will be in Black and White
Old Delhi - These guys were still sleeping on their vegetable carts at 9:30 AM.
Looks like sleeping is a popular pastime in India ...

Well I am running a few days behind schedule so in an attempt to catch up I am looking through my photos from the last month and will upload a few. This seris is about the three wheeler taxis in India and Sri Lanka. Similar to the TukTuks in Thailand and Cambodia.
I found that the quality and cleanliness of the autowrickshaws was generally better in Sri Lanka than in India.

Sri Lanka Auto Rickshaw
After passing or being passed by probably hundereds of these Black and Yellow (Kali Pili) Autorickshaws in India I formed the opinion that sitting like this guy was the "standard" and that driving without shows was also the standard.
