In January 2010 I set myself a challenge - To take a photo a day for the whole year. Sounds so simple.. But I want each of the photos to be worth printing in at least A4 size, something that is interesting, beautiful or unusual in some way. This should be a way for me to increase my photography skills and something that is worth sharing with friends and fellow photogs. I stopped uploading photos to this blog for around 7 years...So I will be uploading pictures to fill in the blanks.

Day 147 - Warning !
Strange warning on the Gridiron player's helmet -
Looks almost as if the manufacturer wants to put themselves out of business.

Day 146 - Rainy days
A wet day today , cold with blustery winds - never the less I managed to snap something interesting - An unside down umbrella.

Day 145- Gridiron
Back from Overseas this morning and needed to get out right away to stay awake and adjust back to the Australian time zone. What better than standing out in the cold watching gridiron?

Day 144 - Teacups in Nanjing
I took a collegue out for the evening to see some of the older parts of Nanjing City. Near the Confucius Temple we did some tea tasting and bought some interesting tea cups.
Day 143- The Willy Wonka Train
This trolley runs underneath the HuangPu River in Shanghai and connects the Bund area to the more modern Pudong side of the City. Passengers on the 7 minute train ride are treated to an amazing light and sound show much like the train in the Willy Wonka movie.
Day 140 - Faces in the street
Belgium June 2010 - We sat in teh town square in Gent outside the Baaf Catherdral watching the world cup games on a large screen.
I liked the rough look on this mans face as he walked past.
