71 - architecture

Architecture (Latin architectura, from the Greek ἀρχιτέκτων – arkhitekton, from ἀρχι- "chief" and τέκτων "builder, carpenter, mason") can mean:
  • The art and science of designing and erecting buildings and other physical structures.
  • The practice of an architect, where architecture means to offer or render professional services in connection with the design and construction of a building, or group of buildings and the space within the site surrounding the buildings, that have as their principal purpose human occupancy or use.
  • A general term to describe buildings and other structures.
  • A style and method of design and construction of buildings and other physical structures.

Some lense curvature to adjust still in photoshop, but the colours are nice and the photo is sharp with very little over exposure. This is when you need a good tripod and patience.

65 - Fox on Fence - Sunset near Bendigo Victora

I noticed a dead fox strung up on the fenceline. I am told that when farmers shoot a fox they hang it up on the fence as a deterent. Not sure that the remaining foxes will understand but it kept me away from the fnece.

62 - Golden orb spider

I am told this is a golden orb spider.
If you look closely it looks like a baby spider is emerging from the sac.

57- Woolshed at Mungo

There are a number of sheering shes on the Mungo property.
They make for nice photographs both inside and out.

These wheels were run by a canvasbet system connected to an engine or motor. The sheereing clippers were attached below the wheels and driven mechanically. This particulare woolshed was last used commercially in 1978 but after 100 years of use, you can still smell the sheep today.
I like to look out of the woolshed thorugh open doors, cracks and windows.
The old windows act as a perfect frames for photo of the stockyards outside.
The lighting and details insidethe woolshed made for interesting highlight pictures.

An back to the outback through the rear of the woolshed.
