A Photo A Day For 365

In January 2010 I set myself a challenge - To take a photo a day for the whole year. Sounds so simple.. But I want each of the photos to be worth printing in at least A4 size, something that is interesting, beautiful or unusual in some way. This should be a way for me to increase my photography skills and something that is worth sharing with friends and fellow photogs. I stopped uploading photos to this blog for around 7 years...So I will be uploading pictures to fill in the blanks.

Sri Lanka - revisited

Today - A few photos from Colombo Sri Lanka.

After work I went to the local temple and the local veggie market.

This is one of the very few times that I have asked people to pose for the camera. They were so willing to let me take their photo and proud of their shops, and businesses.. I returned two days later with prints for each of them. The only guy that missed out was the Tuk Tuk Driver because I didn't know where to find him.

If you want to take interesting Photos it definitely helps to get in front of interesting places and people. Then the images shown in the photos becomes and remains more important than the technical aspects of the photo.
