Alston - Northern Cumbria UK.
I am told that Alston is the highest town in the UK. I guess that explains why when they had the big snow a couple of weeks back that the citizens of Alston were cut off from the rest of civilization by snow blocked roads.
This photo was taken in the front garden of a Churchyard. There were many old gravestones.
I found these off to one side dating back to the 1600's. This photo has not been manipulated and is just cropped for composition. I love the colourrs and the lighting. Sort of feels like a disney ghost story.
