Day 112 - Pencils

I saw this shot in a "How to" internet page about photography, so tonight I took a few minutes to try and recreate the shot. I will use this photo for the Realdotin challenge this month.

The photo has great colour. The upwards slope gives the photo some dynamic tension. It is also a good exercise in manual focus

Another more colourful attempt later in the evening - This version I tried to us ethe rule of thirds for a more dynamic feeling.  Probably a good entry for the June Camera Club competition.
