Over the the last 7 days I have been in New South Wales. This was a week of photography with a couple of friends from the Maroondah Photographic Society.
We visited Perry Sands near Wentworth NSW and I finally got those real Australiana shots with striking red sands and vivid ble sky.
Most of the shots were taken at either sunset or sunrise which made the colours of the sand change every few minutes ranging from white - then yellow and finally a deep red.
The winds blow the sand into rivulettes making interesting patterns and subtle shadows that add interest and texture.
