Today I asked myself about the ethics of taking photos of people that are clearly struggling in life. I hesitated for a second and took this photo, moving on to many worse scenes. I think as long as the photo tells the truth it is fair game. Little did I know that just a few minutes later I would baulk at pushing the shutter button because the scene was too upsetting.
India really is a fascinating country with world class industry segments, great cultures, friendly people and delicious foods, but there is a chasm between the rich and the poor that is difficult to understand unless you see it for yourself.
